The purpose of the Carbon Sink Farming Convergence was to better understand one another so that we may move forward with a shared sense of purpose.  We consider our efforts "successful" because we took the time to hear one another and began to lay the groundwork for a future action built on trust and respect.  Our plan is to transform our collective notes into action items based on the four "strategies" that emerged in our final session.  Rather than attempt to launch a new local, regional, national or international organization, we hope these strategies will inform our work within the groups we are already fostering.
